Program: Apprenticeship and
Work-Based Learning

       Quality education and a strong economy go hand in hand.  Marti Giancola, Apprenticeship and Work-Based Learning Specialist with Pinellas County Schools will share information about the programs being implemented in our schools regarding career-technical education.  Last year Pinellas County students earned over 4,000 industry certifications.  Because of the strength of the programs, many students are able to enter the workforce as they finish their education. Employers are getting talented employees and students are gaining valuable experience in their future career.  Come hear how the vision of preparing every student for college, career and life is becoming a reality in Pinellas County Schools.
